It would be helpful that when the constituent matching does a search for a constituent that it uses the Alias field. Then, you could use a specific alias type (for example, 'Search Name') that it could also search on and the user could specify certain aliases to actually look for when searching for a constituent.

For example, an alias for 'International Business Machines' could be 'IBM' under the 'Search Name' alias field.
